Target Students:
Students interested in working collectively to develop an advertising campaign would enjoy this project. Choosing to work with LGBTA is an acknowledgement that you are aware of the complex and often sensitive environment surrounding alternative sexualities and are willing to work toward eliminating issues of homophobia.
Project Summary:
This project involves a variety of outreach activities to increase awareness of the LGBTA and to educate students about the various events sponsored by the LGBTA. In particular, students will table in the HUB as well as help with outreach and publicity for the upcoming LGBTA lectures and film series. In addition to attending these events, students will announce these events in other Women's Studies courses.
